Initially I thought we were going to a market, so I wasn't expecting much when she explained it was more of a garage sale. Bit of an understatement.
Ma's friend had a garage entirely filled with vintage, art deco and pretty much any other clothing you could think of. Suits, dresses, gloves, furs, you name it. She must have had well over fifty hats hanging from various hooks on the walls and dozens more in storage.
Some of the items she makes, 'edits' or collects. I saw the most amazing dress and almost didn't ask the price, because it looked so expensive. She let me have it for $20.
Been meaning to find a red dress like this for a while. I have a black vintage ball gown and too many black dresses, but no red one. Which was odd, because red works with my skin tone.
So this isn't so much of an outfit post, but I thought people might be interested to see it. I'll certainly wear it to a ball at some point but it might be a while before I can muster the courage to wear a dress like this as day wear...

PS. Let me know if anyone want me to post picture of my black gown
