Attent!on Steampunks:

AetherCon [link] is coming to Auckland. AetherCon is a steampunk convention on April 6th. I was surprised because I didn't think that New Zealand had a convention for anything. (Obviously someone's been living under a rock ''P)Instead, there appears to be a rather active Steampunk community in Oamaru (I'm pretty sure they're involved in the organization of AetherCon.). The convention is going to be a mixture of stalls, workshops on clothing and confidence, parades, games and a ball at the end of the day.

Sounds like good fun.

Also: NZ Underground Festival [link], is on in Auckland tomorrow show casing some local rock bands.
